We started our day with a quick breakfast and a rush to pack the car to head to Barnesville for a little fishing. Quick stop at the grocery store to fill the cooler and we came out to lightening bolts flashing in the West.....ARG!!!! Now what? We'd been promising James all week to go fishing...
We decided since both our cells were/have been crapping out and Alltels big merger with ATnT stinks (not good plans or service for us and no guarantees on anything) and the weather said it was going to clear that we'd head to the mall and do a little cell shopping with Verizon. We both ended up getting LGs Envy Touch - which I swore up and down not to do...so far I'm LOVING it! :) We then went to the indoor playland where James played on the equipment and we played with our new phones.
The weather was clearing so we ate a quick lunch and headed to B-ville hoping and praying it would stay nice out.

This was a perfect spot for James to catch his first fish/multiple fish!
We could see them swimming and when we dropped a line they would swarm and you could reel one in! Even though we didn't catch any keepers we did save them in the bucket so James could check on them every time he caught one. He's quite the proud fisherman.
Here is James' first catch caught with the help of Mommy...but I'm too wimpy to pull the fish off...and touch the nightcrawlers... so not sure how much credit I can really take we'll let Daddy be in the picture! :)

Next on the agenda heading to the beach. James has never gone lake swimming before but as you can tell he LOVED it! Later on he found the fish schooling near the dock and tried to catch them with his bare hands.
After swimming we played on the playground near this lake for a little bit and then headed over to James' favorite two babysitter's house to see their new baby goat. HOW CUTE! and finally a picture of Mommy! See I was there!
James loved visiting here and petting the goat it had tiny little nubby horns and is for sale if anyone wants a miniature goat! :)
This is the baby sister in the family and mommy too and one of Johns coworkers. Poor baby didn't like it when the little goat cried but after a little holding for both of them and they were working on being friends.
James wandered all over their yard with Madisyn and her Dad petting kitties and checking out flowers and the river.
And now we are all pooped out and ready for a good nights rest!
