Last spring we got a call from Heidee and Doug asking us to join them for a Twins/Brewers game, John had to work that weekend so I went through the calendar and found his off weekends and we ended up with tickets to the Twins/Angels game instead. We'd have been sporting different shirts if it had been the first offer BUT since we only cheer against the Twins if they play the Brewers this was cool too.
We started our weekend Fri night with the kids playing hide and seek Fri night while we sat and visited by the fire in the back yard and made some smores then inside where Heidee and I stayed up until 3 am visiting about everything. Every 30 minutes or so one of us would say we should go to bed but then we'd get talking about something else it must be that German goodbye thing.
Target Field is spectacular! Out seats were perfect for a pregnant lady too! Top row of our section, under the canopy, with a bathroom right there!
We checked out the freebies; red sunglasses, Target tattoos, photo booth, and a yummy sample of MN grown pork YUM!

We got LOTS of compliments on my shirt though we didn't get circled. Apparently Bert had the day off. I'm sure this would have caught his attention though.

Mauer up to bat. They started out so well and then went to heck in a handbasket. We had a great time though. Eating peanuts, brats, polishes, and icecream of course the cold beer didn't hurt either. (yeah yeah water for me)
After the game we headed to the Shout House with the dueling pianos where we met Adam and Danielle for a couple hours. We're definitely going again... when I can have a couple shots...some one else will have to DD then. Everyone got a little silly drinking their "Big Ass Beer" we were all singing along and clapping and slapping our hands on the bar in time to the music.
All the while we were out playing yesterday from noon until around 11 our Jamesy was playing with his cousins while their grandma Pat was in charge. No worries for the parents when its a grandma in charge! PLUS we got to come home to some of her so yummy cookies and pumpkin bars too!
