Trip to the Zoo

We took James to the Red River Zoo on Sunday and we had a great time. James loved looking at the animals.
We saw camels....

"What are those big lumps for"
Lamas....

"Watch out they spit"
a Tigeruffalo....


Red Chinese Pandas....

(check out the new "kicks"as Daddy calls them shoes to everyone else)

a couple swans....

"What the heck is he doing with his foot?"

We rode the carousel...

Kind of...

About three turns around and he was not impressed. Its really hard to hold a scared baby and ride in a circle hanging onto a moving horse.

Whats a trip to a ND zoo without a few of these?
a family of Prairie Dogs...

James would have been content to sit and watch these guys for at least a half an hour but our tummies were getting rumblies.

A Daddy...

Oh wait thats not an exhibit. Of course if he gets hungry enough we might have to cage him...
Heres what we were poitning at, back to the Tigeruffalo. Kind of surprised he sat on this since he was not real impressed with the carousel.
