We saw Santa Claus we saw Santa Claus!!

Well we tried to see Santa last weekend but it was soooo cold and our friend Spencer decided to take a nap the whole time so we just went home. BUT that was okay, we waited until today and John was able to come with us.

Did you know Santa has a house in Fargo? He even has reindeer here! (I don't think this is his vacation home though.) He lives at Rheault Farm but just from after Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve. You can bring food donations, toy donations, or cash but otherwise it is free. It really was an old farm and now belongs to the city parks, each building houses something new From Santa and Mrs Claus to Reindeer to a craft area. There was a horse drawn sleigh ride and candycanes lining the walkway. James loves to people watch too so he had fun checking out all the other kids plus all the elves were girls and they were super cute so he was of course a huge flirt!

First we went to the barn where we dropped off donations for the food shelf, we took pictures as elves and watched the train.

After the Barn we went to see Santa, James was not real fond of this and cried, but then Santa gave him his very first sucker, which he loved! Then we saw Mrs Claus and James decorated a very yummy cookie for Mommy to eat - what a sweet boy.

Then on to see the reindeer only Dasher, Dancer and Blitzen were there to visit with us. James wanted them to fly but did you know they can only fly on Christmas Eve?

Really loving that sucker!
