Jamesy's Christmas... and ours too

We had a wonderful Christmas, wish we could have ALL our family closer but I guess you can't have everything. We hope the friends and family we didn't get to spend the holidays with know just how very much we love and miss them not just during the holidays but every day and we hope to see you all soon!

We got to Adam and Danielle's around 5 ish after picking up Arianne. James got to meet his Grandpa Jack for the first time.

Adam and Danielle put on the whole spread; ham, scalloped corn, mashed potatoes (just like Grandma makes,) and yams... YUMMY and the best apple pie I think I've ever had! We had a veggie tray and meat and cheeses also which James loved dipping and then tossing into my glass. Celery is not really a good garnish for Mt Dew... nor are crackers! :)

Just chilling out watching a little TV and visiting

He opened his cookie tin saw what was in it and shut it quick before anyone else knew -but James knew what was in there and helped himself to a cookie!

We headed out about 9 or so to my mom's and visited for a while before bed. Jamesy true to his colors ended up in bed with us. (he usually does when we travel) John got up with him while I got a few more winks, then up and headed to church. We were only 2 minutes late!!!

Back to moms and ready for dinner at 4 or so. Then opening gifts with everyone.

Danielle would only show us the socks part of her gift and got a little red in the face when we asked her what else was there...hmmm wonder what it was? Adam asked if it was for him which of course had everyone else roaring and her pulling her hat over her eyes.

Arianne wanted a new cowboy hat so James and I picked this one up before we moved to Fargo. Can't believe this MN girl put it on her head!! Maybe we'll convert her yet?

We started youngest to oldest for one round and then opened the rest together. James got the show on the road while we were still deciding how we were going to do it. Then when all his were open he had to help Daddy too.
James, of course, took home quite a haul and many hugs and kisses. Everyone was trying to get him to come to them but he was quite a tease almost going to them and then turning around at the last minute.

After opening gifts he was all tuckered out and sprawled out by his auntie.

Well we got a delivery the other day from DHL. The only address was from the toy company. We think we have it figured out who its from though. George and Maria? Thank you very much Chief James, as you can see, loves it. He started ringing the bell as soon as I put him on it. He was thankfully taking a nap while I put it together! So when I brought him out he said "oh" and started pointing at it and waving, very excited!
