We crossed the mighty Mississippi and James loved the water he was picking rocks and sand and looking for the minnows.
He wanted to climb on the rocks but they were so slippery. He was soaked so we changed his clothes and continued to explore the park.
Running up the trail to the fire tower. He was making spitting pppllling noises as he was skiphoprunning and spinning in circles... no wonder he crashed! Crazy kid!
He fell and skun his knee but playing in this lake made him feel better.
The tower is 100 feet tall we didn't climb it this time since we had a cranky boy after the fall and the trek to the tower.
BUT... they have a replica top with pictures of the view so here are the "boys" scoping it out.
All tuckered out after a weekend outside and some cheetos. :)
