James entertained himself for about 20 minutes by throwing rocks into the puddle while I raked and then...He jumped in too. :) Soooo since he was already wet we let him play. He had already done a little "exploring" earlier so we had taken off his tennis shoes and found, thank you Kennedys, a pair of water shoes so he could wear the tennies to church in the morning! Good thing we didn't get them home when you first brought them!
Taking a break? Puddle dancing must be hard work.
You can see who the other in "we" was here as they try to figure out what he found and was playing with... we think maybe some attachment for lights on a pickup trailer.... or something. Well whatever it was is was great fun to play with in the puddle.
"What are these things?"
After the puddle dancing we went to check out the chickens.
James fed them lettuce one piece at a time through the fence. Good thing they weren't starving! (Look at those pants! They did come clean though!)
SUNDAY AT THE FARM....
"What, don't all farmers carry a potatoe in their bib pocket?"
That potatoe was there ALL day. It even managed to come home with us!
Going to check for eggs with Grammy. He LOVES to carry things and sometimes carts the egg basket around in the house (took them a week to find it one time!)
"Yep there they are, put em in the basket gentle!!" He thought this was really cool but I think he was glad the chickens stayed in the corner while he was in there he was kind of leary of them. Along with our potatoe we got to bring a doz eggs home too! I love visiting the farm!! :)
