We had three Halloween outings;
Barb, Dan and Spencer hosted our group Halloween party again this year
Then the next night we went to "trunk or treat" an area church organizes volunteers in the Kohls parking lot and you go from car trunk to car trunk and trick or treat. James' arm and bucket were on TV. It only took him two trunks to catch on that these people were giving him CANDY!!

I can see lots from here but I can't get away!!
Then we headed up to the farm with Barb, Dan and Spencer for a weekend at the farm. A few members of Arianne's horse club and our family put on a haunted hay ride.

The boys rode Misty (the old grandma pony she is about 20 years old) They loved it! First time James sat in a saddle by himself.
They preferred riding together.
Then we had a bug birthday party for James on Sunday pizza and cakes, and bugs and "piders" hanging all over.

We had a great photographer who got the spider in the shot too! :)
The next week we didn't do anything but go vote which was kind of interesting since we went together and took James with us. Our guy didn't win. :( darn it!
Then we headed to Wisconsin to visit Grammy Debbie, Uncle Jay (or "mommy" as James teases him) and Uncle Joe.

We visited my very good friend Janis and checked out the UWSP museum. James absolutely loved this we will probably be making a trek through this each time we visit!
He got SOO excited to see this "lotelotel" (aka turtle.)
We had a date night and met a few friends out, and had a fabulous early Thanksgiving dinner. James loved playing with the barn his Grandpa Jim had made for his daddy and uncles when they were little especially since Grammy picked up some very "life-like" animals, most of them were boys, to play with, (we all got a chuckle out of that.)

Then James and I headed to moms to can some venison and make a drive where Fred shot another deer! YAY! MMMYUM venison gravy here I come!!
Then we hosted Thanksgiving for 7 at our place. We had a great visit with Mom, Jeff, Andy and Arianne. I did not burn anything and am very proud of that! :)
This week we are laying low we all have colds but thats okay it forces us to slow down a bit.
There!! That was our month in a nutshell, we had a couple playdates in there as well as hanging out with Spencer.
Then we hosted Thanksgiving for 7 at our place. We had a great visit with Mom, Jeff, Andy and Arianne. I did not burn anything and am very proud of that! :)
