Fri night Adam and Danielle called and said they would be coming to town for a dress fitting. YAY get to spend some time with them. Then got a call from Danielle's sister Randon who lives in town and she invited us all over to her place for lunch. Her little girl Abby is 4 and she and James share a birthday. How crazy is that? Abby had been to our place to hang out while we had the bachelorette party so the kids knew each other and were very excited to see each other.
After lunch Danielle and I headed to the bridal store to pick out her shoes and have her first fitting...What a beautiful bride! Pretty sure everyone will be speechless. We were also able to pick up our bridesmaid dresses. The boys came back home and James took Adam in his room and showed him all his favorite toys and the dustbuster... John was not invited to play with them.
When we got back we visited and ordered a pizza then I tried to convince them to stay overnight and go to the hockey game with us. But they wanted to get home to get ready for their busy week.
So we headed out to the game to meet Sara Travis Logan and Ashlyn. The Fargo Force teamed with Mary Kay and partial proceeds went to the Mary Kay Ash Foundation which supports womens cancer research. Pink Jerseys for all the players the ice was supposed to be pink but this was actually a rescheduled game due to the prior weeks flooding issues. We had a blast. It took us a while to get there as there parking lot is either way too small or perhaps not finished. We drove over thinking we'd have perfect timing only to be told we needed to go park behind Applebees a couple miles away and they would shuttle us over... it took 40 minutes from the time we could have been there to the time we actually got to our seats. BUT James got to ride a bus and that was totally cool for him. No sooner had we sat down and James was asking John for some guhn guhn and water...poor daddy! But as long as he was going... I asked for my sugar roasted almonds...mmmmYUM!!!
James was enthralled with these fingers but since we were late to the game (missing the whole first period) we didn't see them. A lady in front of us really thought the kids should have some so she went and found three for James Ashlyn and Logan. What a sweet thing to do!
James wasn't real thrilled with the mascot holding him but I was fast. Then every time he saw him after that he wanted to play with him!

I know next to NOTHING about hockey...they use sticks and pucks and skate... and they fight. We witnessed two fights.
